Description
This virtual workshop is designed to help aquatic venue operators and stakeholders develop or revise a CDC MAHC compliant Aquatic Safety Plan. 30 days later, a 5th follow up meeting will be scheduled to provide group feedback.
As a bonus, participants can submit their draft MAHC compliant Aquatic Safety Plan for review within 90 days of completing the workshop.
Please note: Due to the nature of this workshop, CMAHC is unable to offer a make up session for student absences. Make up sessions will only be schedule in the event of facilitator absence.
Objectives
1. To gain a better understanding of the essential and optional components of a MAHC compliant Aquatic Safety Plan
2. Working in a peer-to-peer setting, gain insight to various approaches and considerations for a site specific MAHC compliant Aquatic Safety Plan.
3. To develop a working MAHC compliant Aquatic Safety Plan draft for stakeholder review.
